Do I need to sign a contract for my remodel?

Yes. Alpha General Construction requires a signed initial approval of the project quote and Terms & Conditions before work begins. If the Client is married, in a domestic partnership, or if multiple individuals own or reside in the property, all spouses/partners/owners must sign the initial approval to confirm mutual consent. In the case of a single homeowner, that individual’s signature is required. No project will commence without the proper signed approvals.

What is covered under your warranty?

We provide a 1-year limited workmanship warranty on flooring, kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, general home remodels, window, and door installations. Normal wear, misuse, or issues outside of workmanship are not covered.

Who do I communicate with during the project?

All communication should go through the Project Manager (Joel). Workers are instructed not to take direction from clients directly without approval. This ensures accuracy and avoids misunderstandings.

What are your work hours?

Our standard working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Joel, the Project Manager, does not work or respond to messages on weekends unless it’s an emergency. Texts are typically answered within 24 hours during the work week.

Can Alpha General Construction help with materials?

Yes. We charge $120 per trip for material pick-ups. If a trailer rental is needed, that fee will be added to the invoice. We’re also happy to guide you in ordering items such as drains, sinks, and faucets.

What happens if I ask a worker to make changes on site?

Our workers are trained to follow the approved scope of work. Any new requests must go through the Project Manager so that costs, timeline, and quality stay on track.

Am I responsible if my furniture gets damaged during the remodel?

If furniture needs to be moved, you must arrange it with the Project Manager. We are not responsible for damages to furniture that was moved without prior discussion or approval.

What if I need small touch-ups after the project?

We stand by our work. If an issue covered under the 1-year warranty arises, we’ll address it promptly. For touch-ups not related to workmanship, we can schedule them as a service call.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes. We carry $2 million in liability insurance, which protects both you and us during your project.

Can you work around my family’s schedule?

Yes. We understand remodeling can be disruptive. Our team works standard hours (M–F, 8am–5pm), but we coordinate with clients to minimize inconvenience. In special cases, weekend or after-hour work may be discussed in advance.

Do you offer financing?

We do not directly finance projects, but we accept multiple payment methods and can structure payments in phases. If financing is needed, we can recommend trusted local lenders.
